When is high season in Italy 2026?

Based on the school holidays of all 20 Italian regions (Trentino-Alto Adige genuinely split into Bolzano/South Tyrol and Trentino) — weighted by population — the calendar shows when Italy sees peak season for holiday rentals. Summer 2027 isn't confirmed yet (the ordinance for it hasn't been published).

Turning the rhythm into prices

vayka turns the season curve into weekly prices — using the holiday density of your source markets, portal commission, and rounding. Plus a calendar, documents, guest registration, and an honest report.

How it's calculated
1
For each region, school holiday dates are loaded — the source is a regional press table (orizzontescuola.it) citing the official ordinance.
2
For each calendar week, we count which regions are on holiday — weighted by their importance as a source market. Where most guests come from counts the most.
3
The classification is peak-anchored: the densest week sets the benchmark, every other week is measured against it. That keeps the calendar comparable across years.
The calendar reflects holiday demand, not your actual bookings. Regional public holidays, trade fairs, events and weather come on top. A guideline, not a guarantee.
We currently source each region from a single source only (orizzontescuola.it (Presse, Ordinanza-Zitat)). We don't yet have a second, independent source to cross-check against — the dates are plausible but not (yet) cross-verified.
