How it's calculated
1
For each zone, school holiday dates are loaded — the source is the official calendar of the Ministère de l'Education per zone.
2
For each calendar week, we count which zones (A/B/C/Corsica) are on holiday — weighted by their importance as a source market. Where most guests come from counts the most.
3
The classification is peak-anchored: the densest week sets the benchmark, every other week is measured against it. That keeps the calendar comparable across years.
The calendar reflects holiday demand, not your actual bookings. Regional public holidays, trade fairs, events and weather come on top. A guideline, not a guarantee.
